BREATHE / AT YOUR OWN PACE

Follow a gentle four-phase breath, at your own pace.

Optional soft air with a luminous reverb. Opens on the inhale, then softens and darkens through the exhale. Fades softly during both holds while the reverb gently lingers. At 0% it is silent; available in Meditation Mode too.

Meditation Mode plays the fundamental through a breath-following filter, with optional Air texture. The blue eye, flower and background follow your breath. Leave the mode to restore the full mix.

Follow the selected rhythm gently, at your own pace.

INHALEHOLD INEXHALEHOLD OUT

Holds are optional; set either to 0 to skip it. Do not strain or force the breath. Return to normal breathing if uncomfortable or dizzy. The guide is independent of musical tempo.

A PATTERN INSIDE THE PATTERN

Let the background sing.

A scale-aware arpeggiator with nested subdivisions, accents and gentle variation. Its segments glow between the orbit polygons and the outer Euclidean voices. Every note grows from your selected Hz root.

HOW THE WEAVE WORKS

Density brings in stronger rhythmic anchors first, followed by smaller subdivisions. Tuplets divide selected cells into three; ratchets repeat notes inside a cell. Chance and New Variation change the details while preserving the underlying pulse. Variation rotates the rhythm and introduces seeded, scale-safe pitch changes. Backdrop Level has twice its previous gain: 50% now matches the former 100%. Scale and movement select the pitches; the Hz root transposes the entire phrase.

Felt Mallet, Tuned Glass and Soft Pad have their own harmonic recipes and envelopes. The eye’s filter shapes the drone, orbit pulses and musical backdrop. Try a slightly open filter if the backdrop is too dark. SOLO WEAVE temporarily fades the drone and orbit pulses without changing their levels.

This is EYE.1’s original browser sequencer, inspired by the nested-rhythm approach of Tessella by Meyer Devices ↗. It shares EYE.1’s musical clock; the breathing guide remains independent.

Little sounds. Living patterns.

Six short, softly tuned synth voices. Independent Euclidean patterns over four beats, sharing the instrument’s continuous clock.

SPARSEDENSE / ROTATED

Raise Density + Voices to build from one short voice to all six, with denser, rotating Euclidean patterns. Your lane lengths and levels stay in place. Use START EUCLIDEAN to bring the voices in, and switch individual lanes below.

INSIDE THE LITTLE SOUNDS

Dew, Pearl, Spark, Bubble, Moon and Star are six short sine / gentle FM voices. They follow the selected Hz root and musical scale, with soft attacks and rounded tails. Blip Color changes the shimmer; Blip Length shapes their duration. Euclid distributes and rotates their notes. The outer rings keep the same patterns and motion. Blips join Cosmos, then Drive; the first voice also moves the heart when enabled.

ARCHIVED SOUND ENGINE

Your original five drum recordings are preserved here. The archived kit bypasses Cosmos and still passes through Drive. The page opens in Blips mode, with the rhythm layer muted.

These original geometric drawings offer a visual point of attention. Spiritual meaning belongs to culture and personal experience; a symbol does not establish a medical effect. The lotus grows through muddy water and opens at the surface, a motif used in Asian religious art.

What does a
frequency really do?

A number describes a pitch. Your experience comes from the whole sound. Explore the difference between musical facts, early research and personal meaning.

Music, mood and your own preferences RESEARCH OVERVIEW

Music-based interventions may help with anxiety and some other symptoms in particular settings, according to NIH’s NCCIH. Study quality and results vary. A favourite sound may feel soothing to you without being a universal treatment.

EYE.1’s presets are compositions inspired by this broad research. None has been tested as a health intervention. You can change the root of any preset and keep its tempo and arrangement.

Slow breathing: what is supported? 31 STUDIES / 2024

A meta-analysis covering 31 studies and 1,133 participants found short-term changes in cardiovascular measures, including heart-rate variability, with slow-paced breathing. Evidence for reducing negative emotion was less conclusive; long-term effects remain uncertain.

About six breaths per minute is often studied. It is not the ideal pace for everyone. EYE.1 offers 4-in/6-out, 5-in/5-out and a shorter 3-in/4-out guide, plus optional four-phase holds and editable timing. These choices are comfort options, not clinically proven prescriptions. Slow continuous breathing studies do not establish the effects of every hold pattern. The animation does not measure your breath or heart rate.

Box breathing also appears in NHS guidance. Holds should feel easy; use zero holds if you prefer continuous breathing.

Energy comes from more than pitch TEMPO / AROUSAL

A laboratory experiment with 24 people found greater physiological arousal during faster music and relaxation during pauses. This supports exploring musical pace; it does not establish a universal “energy frequency”.

The Energy preset uses quicker events and a brighter timbre. Its 220 Hz root is a design choice. Faster is not automatically better: musical stimulation and a comfortable pause can both be part of listening.

128, 432 and 528 Hz: evidence versus meaning FREQUENCY CLAIMS

128 Hz is used in diagnostic vibration testing with a tuning fork. Physical contact in an examination is different from hearing a synthesizer. It is not evidence that a 128 Hz tone heals tissue.

A small 432-versus-440 tuning study tested entire pieces of music, not a single tone. A 2026 sound-meditation trial involving 528-Hz audio also included instruments and in-person supervision. These interventions cannot establish special effects from this oscillator alone.

Spiritual associations can have personal meaning. Claims of DNA repair, chakra treatment or guaranteed physiological effects from these tones are not established clinical facts.

Pitch, pulses, beats and brainwaves DIFFERENT MEASUREMENTS

128 Hz means 128 sound-wave cycles per second. BPM counts musical beats per minute. Each orbit distributes its chosen number of pulses across 12 musical beats; 12 steps at 120 BPM means 2 pulses per second. These rates are different from the audible pitch.

“Binaural beats” require separate slightly different tones in the two ears. EYE.1 uses stereo-positioned musical voices, not a binaural-beat protocol. A 2023 review of 14 EEG studies found inconsistent evidence of brainwave entrainment. A visual pulse is not a reading of your brainwaves.
